The greatest flow

Tulin tänään kulkeneeksi polkua, jota olin odottanut kauan.
Lapin luonnossa ja metsän hiljaisuudessa.
Hengittäen.
Askeleitteni selkeä sävel, juurakoiden seassa. Jalkojeni tanssi, kuin ne olisivat sopineet jokaiseen kiven muotoon ja polun mutkaan.
Kuin olisin tullut kotiin.

Kehoni tietoinen tila.
Kaikesta siitä, mikä on ollut tukahdutettuna kauan.
Tietoinen luopuminen jostain sellaisesta, jota on kantanut mukanansa liian kauan.
Piilotettuna, kuin häpeän verhon taakse. Vihdoin pois annettuna, metsään unohdettuna.
Puron pois huuhtomana.

Kysymys itselle: Mitä minä haluan? Ja kuinka aion sen toteuttaa?
Olenko valmis siihen?
Onko se itsekästä? Ja miten se vaikuttaa ympäristööni, jossa toimin?

Entä jos valintani onkin väärä?

Ja juuri näiden kysymysten äärellä ollessani näen tienviitan, joka kertoo, minne tulee suunnistaa.
Tai, mitä  polkua kulkea.
Pelko tieltä eksymisestä, tuntuu jotenkin kutkuttavan kutsuvalta.
Sisäisen äänen kuunteleminen suurelta johdatukselta.

Luottamus.
Siihen, että tähänastinen matkani ei ole ollut turha. Vaan juuri sen matkan vuoksi, näen vastauksen yhä selkeämmin.

Kaupassa ollessani, minulta kysyttiin, olenko paikallisia.
Jäin porisemaan useamman umpioudon ihmisen kanssa ja koin suunnatonta riemua saadessani vastakaikua.
Tutustuin useampaan uuteen tuttavuuteen tunnin aikana.
Enemmän kuin vuoden aikana, nykyisessä kotikaupungissani.
Sain hymyn, jos toisenkin ilman syytä.

Meän kieli tulvahti esiin, kuin olisin puhunut sitä aina.
Myös niiden vuosien aikana, jotka olen ollut pois Lapista.

Lukiessani luontopolulla maahisista ja haltijoista, tiesin, että kirjan, joka lepää pöytälaatikossani, olisi aika nähdä päivänvalo.
Minun juurieni olisi aika nousta esiin ja saamelaisvereni, Turjanmeren rannoilta herätä uuteen aamuun.
Sukuni, Inarilaisen runoniekan jalanjäljissä kulkeminen houkuttelee tällä hetkellä yhtä paljon, kuin huominen  vaellusreittini tunturissa.
Itsensä ylittäminen.
Kuin kiipeäisi tunturin sijaan elämän tikapuilta ylös, tietäen, että tunturin laella punnitaan voima ja tahto.
Taivaankannen alapuolella, lähellä aurinkoa ja kuuta, saa mahdollisuuden kuulla laulun.
Nähdä ja kuulla sisäisen minän. Ja tulla ymmärretyksi ilman sanoja.

Huomenna näen ylisen maailman aukeavan ja minun korpinmustat hiukset sen taivaan alla.
Vapaampana kuin koskaan aiemmin.

Noita on saapunut kotiin.
